Texas Snow Ice Cream

1.8K

Central Texas Snow in Dripping Springs, …it can be few and far between. The last snow being in 2017 was just a trace. This snow, on this wonderfully beautiful, snowy day on January 9, 2021, is only the fourth in the last decade. So, what do we do??? Of course we go out with our favorite Bluetick Coonhound, Birdie, and play:).

When the playing stops, we of course have to make some Texas Snow Ice Cream. Snow Ice Cream is soooo good!! It takes me back home, to North Texas…Abilene, Knox City…when I was a kid. Of course, I know I probably don’t make it as good as my Mom’s or my Grandma’s but I’ll give it a try. I am going to switch it up a bit. Here it is….

It is yummy!!! Of course we had to add the sprinkles. You know I always have them on hand. I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy a little snowfall. And, I hope you enjoy this recipe!!

This recipe calls for Coffee Creamer. Use any flavor you like. We used French Vanilla. It is very rich and delicious. The condensed milk adds just the right amount of richness to get the “ice cream” flavor.

Thank you for following along!!
