Why yes, the preparation and extra steps with rice does matter, WOW!!

This rice is GOOD!!! We are choosing each other’s recipes each week. Cassidy chose a GOOD one.
The flavors are amazing. There are so many ways you could serve this Wild Rice. I chose to serve it along with my husband’s bacon wrapped,stuffed with jalapeños and onions chicken thighs, one of my all time favorites. The man can grill!! The boys in our family are exceptional cooks.
This recipe, Wild Rice, is on page 535 of “Master the Art of French Cooking”

The ingredients are simple yet flavorful.

  • Wild rice
  • salt
  • carrots, onions, celery
  • butter
  • beef bouillon
  • bay leaf
  • thyme
  • salt and pepper
