Well, it was my turn to choose the restaurant and I wanted to go Fancy! I have always been intrigued by the restaurant in Beecaves, Texas named “Plate by Dzintra”, especially since it moved to the larger location right down the street AND the chef is a local celebrity, being a past contestant on Food Network.
THESE are the delicious entrees we chose….
Jumbo Scallop Risotto, and Singapore Chili Glazed Salmon. Yum!! Everything about the meal was delicious, from the perfectly cooked Scallops with the creamy decadent Risotto …to the perfectly seasoned savory sweet Salmon and the crisp and perfectly cooked green beans and Asparagus, sooooo delicious. Of course, the appetizer we chose was absolutely perfect.. the crisp Spicy Tuna “Nachositos”. THIS, we will definitely try to recreate at home, so keep a watch out!! The deep fried Risotto cakes, tuna, and the spicy and sweetness of the jalapeño and strawberry, geez I could eat these EVERYDAY!!!!
And of course, last but certainly not least since it is the First menu we study with great intent, is the wine and drink selection. There is a very good selection of cocktails and a excellent selection of wine. Cassidy chose the Kings Estate 2017 Pinot Noir and I was needing a little bubbly, so I chose a sparkling Rose. The Restaurant is beautifully decorated with a very nice ambience. It is so nice getting all dolled up and enjoying a perfectly delicious meal with my sweet girl.
Yes, we will be back!!! Thank you Plate for such an amazing dining experience.
